Joining the team in April 2003, Joe has over 13 years of experience cleaning carpet and upholstery. Joe’s easy going nature and commitment to his job makes him a pleasure to work with. Always willing to lend a hand when asked, Joe is considered an asset to the Colonial Chem-Dry team.
Born in 1973, Joe is the eldest of four siblings. Formerly a professional musician, music continues to be a passionate hobby. Joe holds IICRC certifications for carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning. He is also the recipient of the 2003 Colonial Chem-Dry Rookie of the Year Award, the 2008 Employee of the Year Award, and the 2015 Colonial Chem-Dry Most Dedicated Technician award, for his willingness to cheerfully lend a hand.
When asked what he likes most about his profession, Joe stated: “Seeing the pleasure on my customers faces after a cleaning is gratifying. While many people feel they’re in a dead end job, I consider myself lucky. My job is a challenge every day and I love a challenge.”
Joe’s Message to Clients: I imagine many people think they’re going to get the “same old/same old “, when they call for a cleaning appointment. But when I come to your home, I treat you like you’re the only customer of my day. At Colonial Chem-Dry our entire staff is committed to doing a great job for you.
Jose (Manny) Padilla
Manny joined the Colonial Chem-Dry team in January 2006. Born in San German, Pueto Rico, he moved to the states as a young boy. Manny recently purchased his own home and lives in Oxford with his wife, daughter, son and the family dog. As a dog owner, Manny likes meeting his client’s pets. When he isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his extended family and working out at the gym.
In addition to being an IICRC certified carpet cleaning technician, Manny has a special talent for earning his clients trust and loyalty. In fact he was the recipient of the Colonial Chem-Dry Customer Service Award in 2010. His cheerful demeanor and easy going attitude make him one of our most frequently requested technicians. When asked what he enjoys most about his profession, Manny stated: “Traveling and meeting new people every day.”
Joining our team in March 1997, Phil has almost 20 years of experience cleaning carpet and upholstery. Over the years, Phil has continued to develop his talents, adding tile & grout cleaning, drapery cleaning, area rug cleaning, water damage restoration and pet urine decontamination to his repertoire of specialty services.
Born in 1970, Phil was raised in Milford, MA. Phil currently resides in Uxbridge with his wife and two sons. He enjoys hiking, jogging with the family dog and watching his son play soccer.
Phil holds IICRC certifications for Carpet Cleaning, Carpet Repair & Reinstallation, Stone, Masonry & Ceramic Tile Cleaning and Water Damage Restoration. He is also the recipient of the Colonial Chem-Dry 1997 Rookie of the Year, Colonial Chem-Dry 2000 Employee of the Year and Colonial Chem-Dry Perpetual Excellence Award in 2011 and again in 2014 for his outstanding dedication to the principles and ideals of Colonial Chem-Dry.

When asked what he enjoys most about his profession, Phil stated: “Every job and customer is unique which allows me to grow as a person and cleaning technician. Knowing that I’m the best at what I do gives me a lot of job satisfaction.”
Leo began his textile cleaning profession in April 2007 after deciding that cleaning windows on Boston high rises was hazardous to his health!! Born and raised in the Lawrence area, Leo currently resides in Worcester. One of his proudest accomplishments was managing the winning team of the Babe Ruth Little League World Series in 2006.
His nine and a half years of experience has prepared him to handle many cleaning challenges. In January 2011, Leo became our Hunter Douglas blind cleaning specialist after completing an intensive 4 day training and certification program. He is also an IICRC certified carpet cleaning technician.
Recipient of the Colonial Chem-Dry Most Improved Technician in 2010, Leo gets a lot of satisfaction from providing his customer with the best service possible. While cleaning at your home, you can count on Leo to find ways to make your day run more smoothly.
Joining Colonial Chem-Dry in September 2013, Nic has made remarkable progress as the newest member of our team. Nic became IICRC certification for carpet cleaning, making our service crew 100% IICRC certified. Nic also earned his Chem-Dry 5 Star Certification as soon as he completed the two year eligibility period. In 2014 Nic was recognized as the Colonial Chem-Dry Rookie of the Year for his outstanding effort in the advancement of his skills.
Born in Framingham in 1991, Nic is also the youngest member of our team. But what he lacks in experience he makes up for with his energy and enthusiasm. Nic’s clients admire the keen work ethic he exhibits for someone so young. Nic takes pride in his work stating, “I love to help solve my customer’s carpet and upholstery cleaning problems. Helping to make their homes shine is very satisfying.”
In his spare time, Nic is an avid fan of Boston sports teams. He also enjoys snow boarding and building new things.
